Workshop Poster Series

Original Problem: To create 3 posters that convey the topics of storytelling, photography, and writing. As well as target the correct audience and invite viewers to read more. These posters need to work together and individually.

Solution: A set of 3 posters were created using a similar grid and style so they fit together. They also provide the same information without needing the other poster(s) for context, so they work on their own as well. The hierarchy and color used for the text invites readers to read more of the poster & get the information they need. The illustrations created also inspire creativity and are cartoon-like, so as to relate to the child to teen audience. The clouds for storytelling illustrate being stuck in the clouds and day dreaming. The sparkles for photography illustrate camera flashes. The thought bubbles for writing illustrate a more literal meaning of thinking and ideas that pop up when you are writing.
